pontoonFor those looking to rent…Runamuk offers hourly and daily snowmobile, ATV & UTV rentals and guided excursions as well as daily and weekly pontoon boat, fishing boat, PWC, and canoe rentals.  Located right at the junction of 3 major trails and situated half-way between Cable & Hayward, WI we’re near all major northwest Wisconsin lakes, easy to get to, and have great, direct trail access. Splashing in MudOur master-certified technicians can repair, maintain or customize any brand, model or type of boat or boat engine, (outboard, inboard and jet), PWC, ATV, UTV, snowmobiles or trailer.   Runamuk also provides insurance appraisals and insurance estimates, emergency lakeside/trail-side repair and towing service as well as replacement rental units to use while your equipment is being repaired or replaced.   We perform seasonal storage, preparation and winterization for all types of power-sports equipment.  We’re open late, 7 days a week, are located near all major NW Wisconsin lakes and sit atop 3 major ATV/snowmobile trails. You can drive, trailer, or ride yours or our power-sports machines directly to or from Runamuk.

Runamuk sells all brands of pre-owned late model snowmobiles, side-by-side UTVs/ATVs, ATVs, pontoon boats, deck boats, ski boats, fishing boats, personal water craft (jet skis), canoes, trailers, lifts and more.  We carry and extensive line of OEM & aftermarket parts and accessories.   We accept trades-ins and consignment sales.

MUSKY FESTIVAL, June 25-28, 2015

This celebration of the areas abundant fishing includes the crowning of our Musky Festival Queen, sidewalk sales, large handmade art & craft show, live music, children’s games, mouth-watering food booths, 5K/ Run/Walk and 10K Run as well as a Minnow Run for those 12 and younger, catch & release fishing contest, fishing photo contest, a carnival and large street dances featuring Midwest known music groups on Friday and Saturday nights. The whole weekend concludes with the Grand Parade on Sunday down Main Street.

HONOR THE EARTH POW WOW, July 17-19, 2015 
Located at the Lac Courte O’Reille Reservation school grounds, Ojibwe tradition and celebration are the centerpieces of the homecoming. Music, dancing, crafts and food create an authentic tribal experience

LUMBERJACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, July 23-25, 2015
The Lumberjack World Championships® showcases over 21 unique competitions and world records in events ranging from men’s and women’s logrolling, to chopping and the exciting pole climb. Over 100 plus competitors vie for more than $50,000 in prize money, making this one of the largest purses for lumberjack competition in the world.

SAWYER COUNTY FAIR, Aug. 13-16, 2015
This year marks the 108th annual Sawyer County Fair; auto racing and derby demo; grandstand with live music, professional bull riding, carnival, rides, games, food and more! Located just east of Hayward off County Road B.

CHEQUAMEGON FAT TIRE FESTIVAL, Sept 18-20, 2015

To enthusiastic off-road bicyclists from across the country, the annual trek to the Chequamegon (She-wa-me-gon) Fat Tire Festival presented by Trek means fat tire racing and fat tire fun. Each year in mid-September, thousands of fat tired fliers descend on the towns of Cable and Hayward in northwestern Wisconsin to take on the off road bicycle tests of endurance and agility offered throughout the weekend.

HAYWARD FALL FESTIVAL, September 26, 2015
Fall welcomes fine arts & crafts booths, wonderful food booths, a farmer’s market and live music to the Main Street in downtown Hayward. This annual fall tradition is a wonderful celebration of the area’s true colors.

STONE LAKE CRANBERRY FESTIVAL, October 3, 2015
Come join the celebration of the area’s cranberry harvest (our area is one of the largest areas for producing cranberries). With over 30,000 visitors the Stone Lake Cranberry Festival is one of the largest events in northern Wisconsin. Events include lots of flea market, arts and crafts, cranberry baking contests, cranberry farm (marsh) tours, krate derby, apparel, and lots of food vendors.
