Biking & Cross Country Skiing

The CAMBA Off-Road Bike Trail System courses through Sawyer and Bayfield counties. It consists of over 300 miles of marked and mapped routes and is home to numerous bike rates including the famous “Fat Tire Bike Race”. Cross Country Skiing is also very popular in NW Wisconsin There are over 150 miles of some of the best cross-country ski trails in the Midwest. You can challenge yourself on the American Birkebeiner Trail (or “Birkie”) or ski at a relaxed pace on any of the multitude of well-marked and maintained trails.
