What is the cancellation Policy?

There are NO refunds unless PARTICIPANTS purchased, at the time they made their reservation, RUNAMUK’s "Trip Interruption Plan" otherwise there will be no cash or credit card refunds whatsoever.

Except for rental returns, we are closed on Sundays. We are closed Dec 23 - 26. We will reopen at 9am on 12/27.

Where is the pickup location?

All equipment may be picked up at 13679 W Thannum Fire Lane, Hayward, Wisconsin 54843. Unless you have selected delivery service, arrive 15 minutes before your appointed start time.

What's Included?

The guide rides his or her machine and will help you have a wonderful experience. You pay thestated per machine rental price. This covers the cost of the guide, his/her machine and as well as your cost of the rental unit you will be operating. Depending on Optional prepaid fuel option, helmet rental or delivery service available. Otherwise, you may bring in your own fuel (91 octane, no ethanol) and sport appropriate helmets. Helmet use is mandatory. Runamuk sits along 3 major trails so delivery and pickup service is not necessary. It is, however, available for an additional charge. If interested, let us know.

What to Bring?

Suitable clothing; camera; ID; cash or credit cards; For cooler weather things like chemical hand and feet warmer; gloves, light rain gear, hiking boots, a hat to wear when not wearing your helmet. Dress in layers! In cold weather, we recommend mittens versus gloves; longer coats and snow bibs; face mask (balaclava). We do offer weather-appropriate outer wear such as boots, gloves, bibs, hats, jackets, etc.

what to know?

Tours generally start at 11:00 am but customized tours by prior arrangement. Call us to discuss: 715-222-9911. Guides are not instructors nor do we offer any training. We will review with you key machine features but all guests are expected to already know how to inspect and operate snowmobiles. Go to dnr.wi.gov to determine any snowmobile operators' licensing requirements. All operators are expected to comply with DNR requirements. ll participants (renters, operators, passengers) must come knowing already how to operate a snowmobile with and without passengers.

Runamuk offers no insurance of any kind nor are you in any way insured by us. Contact your insurance agent regarding coverage. You will be required to pay (via a charge to your credit card) a $1500 per machine security deposit collected at the time you arrive to start your tour.
