How does it Work?

  • pick the date or dates you want to go snowmobiling. You can choose rental durations from one to seven days.
  • Figure out how many group members will want to drive (operate) and how many will be passengers (they can even switch places).
  • Decide if you want guide-service or feel comfortable navigating the trails on your own.
  • Finally, click the availability button to determine rates, availability in addition to choosing optional services.

How much does it cost?

  • Prices will vary based upon factors such as duration, snowmobile model, dates and day of the week
  • Runamuk offers additional options such as delivery, prepaid fuel, interruption plans, etc. that can be added on to your vehicle rental

how old do I need to be to rent/ride?

  • To rent a snowmobile from Runamuk, you must be 18 years or older and have a major credit card
  • To drive a snowmobile, you must be at least 16 year old and possess a valid automobile license and snowmobile operator's license.
  • If born before Jan 1st, 1985, you only need a valid automobile license

How easy is it to drive a snowmobile?

  • Snowmobiling can be fun, but dangerous. Most riders do just fine operating our snowmobiles
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is a major contributing factor to snowmobile incidents
  • Runamuk uses brand new snowmobiles which offer the latest technology to ensure the safest and easiest ride

What to bring?

  • Be sure to bring, your drivers and operators' licenses, camera, cash and credit card.
  • Dress appropriately and in layers
  • Snowmobiles have minimal storage, what you bring will have to be secured on person

Do you offer insurance?

  • Runamuk does not offer any type of insurance
  • Do not assume your homeowners or auto insurance applies to off-road activities
  • Runamuk requires a $1500 per snowmobile security deposit to partially or totally pay for damage or coincidental expenses such as gas

Is there a cancelation policy?

  • All sales are final. There are no refunds or in-store credits
  • In response to COVID, Runamuk offers an interruption plan which may be purchased only at the time of booking
  • The interruption plan allows you to cancel or amend your snowmobile reservation

What is a guided Excursion?

  • Runamuk will provide a guide to ride with you on your excursion to help navigate through the trails.
  • Guided excursions use the same snowmobiles as unguided snowmobile excursions
  • When choosing this option, please be aware that you must rest a snowmobile for both you and the guide
